On behalf of Radford Health & Rehab Center, we have the pleasure of introducing you to our newest employee and Director of Admissions & Marketing, Mike Gunter! Learn more about Mike:

My name is Mike Gunter and I’m the new Director of Admissions & Marketing.  First and foremost, I’m a retired Air Force Veteran.  After the service, I came back home to Radford. I started working for the Town of Blacksburg in the finance department and worked at Federal-Mogul.

I am married to my high school sweetheart Carol and a grandfather of 7,  where I spend most of my time.  Our children have all moved out except for our one baby, Waylon the wiener dog, who will never leave. 

I’ve been with Radford Health & Rehab, for a year, working in our Business Office. I’ve come to love the employees, as well as our residents! I couldn’t think of a better place to work! 

I look forward to meeting new residents as they arrive. I’m certain that our excellent nursing and physical therapy staff can meet their needs to improve their well-being and send them home quickly.
