Throughout the year, Radford Health & Rehab Center nominates a Team Member of the Quarter.  This individual is nominated by their peers as an individual who exemplifies service excellence and embodies the CCR mission to provide peace of mind to those we care for: our patients, residents, families, and staff.  One winner is selected from the quarterly winners to receive the Team Member of the Year award.

The Team Member of the Year award recipient receives a $500 cash award and a certificate of recognition presented by the Director of Operations, Center Administrator, and the recipient’s Supervisor. In addition, a celebration dinner was held with the winner’s teammates, family, and friends in attendance.  The Radford Health & Rehab Center winner then competes with 12 other Team Member of the Year award winners to be selected for the Deborah L. Petrine Award. This team member receives an award presented by the Commonwealth Care of Roanoke, LLC President, Director of Operations, and Center Administrator at the winning team member’s Center.

Today, we are pleased to announce the 2021 Team Member of the Year for Radford Health & Rehab Center is Jennifer Bain.

Jennifer has been at Radford Health & Rehab Center for 17 years. Her supervisor, Tressie Cole, says, “there’s no one like her!”  During bad weather, Jennifer will stay the night to help prepare meals and make sure everything is ready to go for our residents.  She is detail-oriented when it comes to the preferences and diets of our patients/residents.

We are lucky to have Jennifer as a team member here at Radford!
