I work at Radford Health & Rehab Center as the Admissions Director and I thoroughly love my job, my coworkers, and the residents. 

This week, I had the honor of admitting my mother, Fay Gunter, as a resident here.  This is her second trip to our facility and always praises our Therapy, Nursing, Dietary, and Housekeeping staff.  It is nice for me to walk around the corner and see her when I want to and to have confidence that she is well cared for. 

I consider a lot of our residents here “family” and that’s why I wanted my mother here in our “family.”  I couldn’t think of a better place to work or a better place for my mother to be during trying and challenging times.
