At Radford Health & Rehab Center, we recognized that there are seniors in our surrounding community who are isolated and vulnerable during this Christmas season, and we wanted to help!  We asked our friends and families to help us as we started a community service project to ensure that our NRV-area seniors do not feel alone.

Over two weeks, we accepted donations of items such as blankets, gloves, hats, toiletries and household supplies that we could safely distribute to seniors identified through our local area agency on aging and community partners. 

We want to thank everyone who donated and helped with this project.  Because of your donation, we were able to help over 108 seniors in the New River Valley.  We are hopeful that these donations helped senior citizens in our community have a wonderful holiday.
