Who receives the Service Excellence Advisor Award? A team leader and role model who encourages and supports others to improve.

Tara was nominated by: Shannon Davis, Dietary Manager, CPC & Brittney Bright, Administrator:

Tara is one of our Business Office Assistants and is currently serving as a first year SEA. When Tara was first nominated as an SEA she was a little hesitant about taking on the role. However, the management team here at Radford knew she would be an exceptional choice. On a daily basis Tara goes above and beyond for her patients, residents, families, and co-workers. She has purchased things for residents who did not have family or the money to purchase them, and each day she takes the time to talk with the residents who come by the front office and ask how they are doing and how their day is going. Tara also not only fulfills the task of her job well, but she always does it with a smile and a can-do attitude. She certainly has a servant’s heart and would do anything for her patients, residents, families, or staff.

Who wins the award for Service Excellence Advisor Team? A team with positive attitude, who combine their frontline enthusiasm and skills for the betterment of all.

The Radford All-Stars were nominated by: Shannon Davis & Brittney Bright:

This team has been by far the most dedicated team of SEA’s we have seen at our center, they have truly been a breath of fresh air for our customer service program at the center. All four individuals that make up this team have been nominated and won the center’s shining star of the month award, and one of them was honored with the center’s shining star of the year award this past year. This team has gone above and beyond to make sure their workshops are interactive and really engage the staff that are sitting in them. They have even gone as far to include props in their skits for the workshops. They have been great teachers who from day one of their employment have understood what lies at the heart of service excellence and have taken extraordinary measures to make sure that their co-workers understand service excellence just as well.

The HealthCare Summit Awards are a North American wide recognition program established and managed by the HealthCare Service Excellence Conference on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona.
